- How can we get to the apartment?
From the airport you can take the ATVO shuttle bus to Venezia Mestre station.
From the Venezia Mestre station you can either walk 16 minutes, or take the 7 or 7E busses (from via Cappuccina) or take the bus number 10 (from the Mestre train station, once every hour): here you can find the timetables for all the Actv public busses. The bus stops 20 meters from the building.
From Venezia Santa Lucia station you can take bus 7 or 7E directly to the same stop mentioned above. Taking the taxi is a possibility too: in front of the Venezia Mestre station there are always some waiting. Taking the taxi directly from the airport might be a little bit expensive, but, late at night (after 1 am), it might be the only way to reach Mestre/Venice.
- Do you have parking?
No, our apartments do not have the possibility to offer parking.
- Where can I park my car? How much does it costs?
There are so called “blue stripes” in the immediate vicinity, 0,80€ per hour, € 8 per day in total (8:00-13:00/15:00-20:00), free on Sundays and national holidays. You can pay to the turrets in the area.
- How can I go to Venice by public transport?
In front of the house you will find the bus stop for bus number 7 and 7E that will take you to Piazzale Roma. On Saturdays and Sundays, you must use ONLY 7E. At night you can take the N1 to go back home or to go to Venice from the bus stop in via Carducci.
- Where can I buy bus tickets?
Just outside the gate there is a tobacco shop where you can buy all the tickets. Here you can find various information. If you are under 29 y.o., you can buy a discounted ticket called Rolling Venice.
- Can we leave our luggage in the apartment before check-in or after check-out?
It is not possible. The stations of Venezia Santa Lucia and Venezia Mestre provide a luggage storage service.
- Is breakfast included?
No, being it an apartment with kitchen, guests are responsible for their own meals.
- What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is possible from 2 pm to 7 pm. Check-out is at 12 noon and in any case no earlier than 8.
- Can I check in before 2 pm?
- Can I check out after 12 noon?
- Can I check in after 7 pm?
Yes, it is possible, but a surcharge of € 20 will be applied until midnight. For every hour after midnight we add € 5.
- Where can I buy food?
At 150 meters from the apartment is the discount Dpiù. At 550 meters in the opposite direction is another discount store, the In’s Mercato, and a few meters further you can find the Simply Market.
- Do you have any restaurant recommendations?
Sure! Here you can find a list.
- Can I bring my dog/cat?
Yes! Animals are welcome! But there are a few rules to follow. It is not allowed to let them on beds, sofas or on the armchairs. As next guests may be allergic, a € 10 surcharge will be charged for final cleaning. Furthermore it is absolutely forbidden to leave them alone in the apartment for ANY reason.
- Is there an elevator?
No, the apartment is located on the second floor of an independent building without a lift. There are 5 flights of stairs to climb.
- Is there a TV?
- Is there internet?
Yes, the whole structure has free wifi internet with fiber.
- Is there an oven?
No, there is a microwave.
- Is there a washing machine?
No. If you need to wash and dry something, you can go to a coin laundry 5 minutes away from the apartment.
- Are linen and towels provided by you?
Yes, they are included in the price. The beds are already provided with sheets and there is a set of towels for each guest (shower towel, hand towel and guest towel).
- How often do you change the linen and the towels?
The linen and the towels are changed with every new guest coming. A change during the stay can be provided upon request. The prices are: € 5 for bedsheets and € 2,50 for towel set.
- There are personal care products?
We only supply the essentials (set of towels, sheets, hand soap, toilet paper) and for house cleaning (mop, broom and dustpan, floor detergent, dishwashing detergent, bathroom cleaning sprays). The rest is on the guests.
- Can I smoke in the apartment?
No, it is not possible to smoke inside the apartment or in the stairwell. It is possible to smoke on the terrace (if the apartment has it).
- Is the water drinkable?
Yes, it is in all the apartments.
- Is there a crib?
No, we do not have cribs.
- Can you add an extra bed?
No, we do not offer this possibility.
- Are the apartments in a quiet neighbourhood?
Yes, but they face the street, so there might be the noise produced by the cars.
- Are there additional charges to be paid in the property?
If you paid online already, the only thing you will pay on your arrival is the tourist tax (€ 4 per person per night). Residents in the municipality of Venice and children under 10 are exempt from the tourist tax. The rate is reduced by 50% for young people aged between 10 and 15. The tax is applied for a maximum of 5 nights.
The security deposit of € 150 will be received in cash during check-in and returned on the day of check-out after checking the condition of the apartment.
